Mood of Fahrenheit 451
After our mini-lesson on imagery, how does the author's choice of imagery words affect the overall mood of the story? Does the imagery fit the plot?
I think Bradbury's choice of words are intentional because he wants to create a very oppressive society in which education is limited. The words he chooses to express the conditions of the society are very carefully chosen.
ReplyDeleteI think the imagery fits the plot because the words create are very dark, oppressive, violent, and detached world.
