Yes he does . He shows his argumentive side because he doesnt want to pay Maurice and Sunny beacuse he fells like since Maurice lied to him bout how much he had to pay for Sunny to come to his room then he shouldnt have to pay them the whole 10 dollars
Holden does seem to be argumentative. I say this because when Sunny and Maurice go to his room he refuses to give them the five bucks he apperantly owes them.
Holden shows his argumentative side by refusing to give the prostitute and Maurice. He also tries to stand up to Maurice when he corners him.
